Arden & Oak is a garden room studio based in Paignton, Devon. When you contact us — by form, email or phone — you're sharing personal information with us, and this page explains what we do with it.

What we collect
Enquiry forms: your name, email, phone (if you give it), postcode, and the details of your project. Booking forms: the same, plus a preferred date. We do not collect payment information on this site — any deposit or invoice is handled separately once a project is agreed.

Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote or a specification, schedule a consultation, and — only with your consent — keep you informed about your project. We do not sell, share, or rent your details to any third party.

How long we keep it
Active enquiries are retained for up to 3 years so we can refer back to earlier conversations if a project is delayed or revived. Closed enquiries that don't progress are deleted within 12 months. Project records (drawings, invoices, warranty) are kept for 10 years to honour the structural warranty.

Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages people visit and how the site is performing. GA4 sets cookies that store an anonymised visitor ID. We only switch this on after you click 'Accept' on the consent banner. If you click 'Reject', nothing is set. You can change your mind at any time using the button below.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see what we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, delete it, or take it elsewhere. Write to sales@ardenandoak.co.uk and we'll reply within one calendar month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
